About GAiN Adventist Communication Training

This platform is an online training initiative designed to strengthen communication across the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Created by the Communication Department of the General Conference, with the active support of all Divisions and attached fields, it brings together the experience of a diverse network of Adventist communicators, professionals, and practitioners from around the world.

Built on a micro‑learning approach, the platform offers short video lessons, practical guides, and downloadable resources designed for immediate application. Its structured curriculum continues to grow and evolve, ensuring relevant, up‑to‑date content that serves the real needs of the global Church.

Mission:

To empower Adventist communicators through practical and accessible e‑learning, providing them with the tools and skills needed to communicate intentionally and effectively.

Vision:

To cultivate a creative community of disciples who become leaders and references in using communication for the mission.

Principles:

  1. Local First:
The local church is the heart of the mission. We promote proximity‑based communication, recognizing the diverse contexts and realities of each territory. Without imposing external models, we prioritize listening and local action.

  2. Innovative Learning:
Updated and regularly refreshed content aligned with current communication trends, ensuring our communication is not behind but at the forefront—or at least keeping pace with reality.

  3. Simple & Adaptable:
Straightforward communication: concise, practical, and applicable content. Communication principles are ready to be adapted to any local reality without requiring advanced technical knowledge.
